We are an interdisciplinary team of professionals, formed by representatives of
diverse disciplines. We are convinced that violence can and must be reverted
and that one should work intelligently to promote the necessary cultural
transformation.
Our team is formed by the following staff:

Director of Casa Amiga Crisis Center
Function:
Founded the center, feminist leader committed to defend women rights and
equality of genders. She has systematically denounced the crimes done to
women in our town. She has received a lot of national and international
honors for her outstanding work.

Administration Coordinator
Function:
Administrative control and regulation of the center and its staff,
coordination of finances and donations.

Coordinator of Psychology
Function:
Coordination of the team of psychologists and of the following activities:
individual psychotherapy for adults, psychotherapy for families, group
therapy, workshops for victims of domestic violence, parents, and adolescents.

Coordinator of Prevention
Function:
Coordinating the team of volunteers. Realizing prevention actions such as
theater presentations in schools, assembly plants, and working centers.

Coordinator of Social Work
Function:
Training of volunteers, formation of networks, visiting private homes, and
tracking of cases.

Legal Advisors
Function:
Legal defense and orientation for victims of violence, such as: conciliation,
arbitration, and divorce.

Clinical Psychologists
Function:
Individual psychotherapies for adults, infantile psychotherapies, pair and
family psychotherapy, group therapy, and workshops for survivors of domestic
violence.

Coordinator of the Women’s Shelter
Function:
Coordination of the temporary shelter for women and children who suffered
domestic violence.

Pedagogue
Function:
Psycho-pedagogical workshops for juveniles who have suffered situations of
domestic violence.

Assistant of the Prevention Area
Function:
Supporting the Prevention Area and the Social Work Area, especially with the
realization of theater functions.

Function:
Reception of people who arrive at the Center, organization and distribution of
appointments and administrative activities.
